How to Read This Atlas
Rookery Isles runs ArcheAge 3.0 (Revelation), and the world is split across three continents plus the open ocean between them. Nuia sits in the west, Haranya in the east, and Auroria to the north. The two starter continents (Nuia and Haranya) hold the protected leveling chains for each faction. Auroria is the endgame continent, and the seas tie everything together for trade, naval combat, and piracy.
Every level band in this atlas is server-confirmed. The numbers come from the actual levels of the mobs that spawn at their actual coordinates in the live world, not from a public wiki. The "Level Band" column reflects where the bulk of a zone's content sits (roughly the 10th to 90th percentile of mob levels in that zone). A few zones host mobs well above or below their band: a stray low critter or a high-level guard or boss. The maximum character level on Rookery is 55, so anything labeled Level 50 to 55 is post-cap, endgame content.
A note on accuracy. Where the database did not contain leveled mob spawns inside a zone's box, the level band is listed as "Not server-confirmed." Community-reported bands may circulate for those zones, but Rookery's no-lies rule means a number you can act on is better than a number that might be wrong, so those are left unmarked rather than guessed.
If you are brand new, start with the New Player Guide, then use the Leveling Guide to plan which zones to move through as you climb.
Zone Safety: Peace, Conflict, and Lawless
Before the zone tables, understand the three safety states. Whether you can be attacked by enemy players depends on who owns a zone.
| Status | What it means | Where it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Safe (faction-protected) | Owned by the Nuia Alliance or the Haranya Alliance. Faction guards protect you. These are the leveling zones for that faction's players. | The faction-owned w_ zones (Nuia) and e_ zones (Haranya). |
| Conflict (contested) | No owning faction. The zone cycles between peace and war states on a server schedule. During war, open-world PvP is live. | The contested zones on both continents (Cinderstone Moor, Halcyona, Hasla, and others). |
| Lawless (free-PvP) | Permanently hostile. No peace protection, no friendly guards, open-world PvP at all times. Outlaw and pirate rules apply. | Every Auroria zone and every open-sea zone, plus a couple of lawless pockets on the older continents. |
Peace and war timers are real, but only on contested zones. Faction-owned safe zones stay safe. Auroria and the open seas never enter a peace state. Do not assume "most zones have peace timers" keeps you safe up north or out on the water: they do not. The exact peace and war schedule for contested zones is driven by server scheduling and is not published as a fixed table here, so check in-game before hauling anything valuable through a contested zone.
For how PvP itself works once you are flagged, see PvP and Arenas. For moving trade packs safely (or dangerously) through these zones, see Trade Packs and Commerce.
Nuia (Western Continent)
Nuia is the western starter continent and the home of the Nuia Alliance. Its protected zones form a leveling chain that walks you from the starter peninsula out through forests and plains. The contested zones to the south and west are where Nuian and Haranya forces clash.
Nuian-protected zones (safe leveling chain):
| Zone | Level Band | Median | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solzreed Peninsula | Level 9 to 45 | 17 | Safe (Nuian) starter |
| Lilyut Hills | Level 6 to 50 | 11 | Safe (Nuian) starter |
| Gweonid Forest | Level 5 to 50 | 20 | Safe (Nuian) |
| Dewstone Plains | Level 17 to 50 | 24 | Safe (Nuian) |
| White Arden | Level 15 to 35 | 18 | Safe (Nuian) |
| Marianople | Level 25 to 45 | 34 | Safe (Nuian) capital region |
| Two Crowns | Level 31 to 50 | 39 | Safe (Nuian) |
Nuian contested zones (peace and war cycles, free-PvP during war):
| Zone | Level Band | Median | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airain Rock | Level 22 to 50 | 25 | Contested |
| Cinderstone Moor | Level 27 to 50 | 30 | Contested (war zone) |
| Sanddeep | Level 37 to 45 | 37 | Contested |
| Halcyona | Level 35 to 50 | 37 | Contested (major war zone) |
| Karkasse Ridgelands | Level 25 to 50 | 48 | Contested and lawless (pirate rules) |
| Hellswamp | Not server-confirmed | n/a | Contested (war zone) |
| Aubre Cradle | Not server-confirmed | n/a | Contested |
| Miroir Tundra | Not server-confirmed | n/a | Contested (far west) |
| Ahnimar | Not server-confirmed | n/a | Contested (far west) |
Karkasse Ridgelands is the exception to watch on Nuia. It is a contested zone that is also flagged lawless, so outlaw rules apply there beyond the normal peace and war cycle. Treat it like Auroria, not like Cinderstone.
The Wastes appears in the data but is closed and not playable, so it is not part of the atlas.
Haranya (Eastern Continent)
Haranya is the eastern starter continent and the home of the Haranya Alliance. It mirrors Nuia: a protected leveling chain for Harani players, surrounded by contested zones. Two of Haranya's zones, Hasla and the classic gear-grind areas, are key endgame-adjacent destinations.
Harani-protected zones (safe leveling chain):
| Zone | Level Band | Median | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solis Headlands | Level 21 to 50 | 35 | Safe (Harani) starter |
| Arcum Iris | Level 7 to 30 | 11 | Safe (Harani) starter |
| Mahadevi | Level 16 to 50 | 20 | Safe (Harani) |
| Falcorth Plains | Level 6 to 42 | 15 | Safe (Harani) |
| Villanelle | Level 18 to 35 | 24 | Safe (Harani) |
| Silent Forest | Level 25 to 28 | 26 | Safe (Harani) |
| Tigerspine Mountains | Not server-confirmed | n/a | Safe (Harani) |
| Sunbite Wilds | Not server-confirmed | n/a | Safe (Harani) |
Harani contested zones (peace and war cycles, free-PvP during war):
| Zone | Level Band | Median | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windscour Savannah | Level 10 to 44 | 30 | Contested |
| Rookborne Basin | Level 4 to 43 | 35 | Contested |
| Perinoor Ruins | Level 43 to 50 | 45 | Contested |
| Ynystere | Level 32 to 50 | 50 | Contested (high-level) |
| Hasla | Level 44 to 47 | 45 | Contested and lawless (classic gear-grind zone) |
| Rokhala Mountains | Level 10 to 50 | 41 | Contested |
Hasla is the Haranya zone to know. It is a contested zone that is also flagged lawless, and it is the long-running gear-grind destination from classic ArcheAge. Expect open PvP there at all times. Saltswept Atoll and Sylvina Caldera also exist on the Haranya side, but their geometry and level data are not recorded in a usable form in the database, so no band is given.
Auroria (Northern Endgame Continent)
Auroria is the northern continent and the endgame heart of the world. Every open-world Auroria zone is lawless and free-PvP at all times. There are no peace timers up here. The content is post-cap: mob levels run Level 50 to 55 across the board. This is where you go for the Anya Vein, Archeum, honor grinding, and the large-scale conflict events.
| Zone | Level Band | Median | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diamond Shores | Level 50 to 55 | 51 | Lawless, main Auroria daily hub |
| Sungold Fields | Level 50 to 51 | 51 | Lawless, daily hub |
| Calmlands | Level 50 to 52 | 51 | Lawless |
| Marcala | Level 50 to 52 | 51 | Lawless |
| Heedmar | Level 35 to 51 | 50 | Lawless |
| Nuimari | Level 50 to 51 | 51 | Lawless |
| Exeloch | Level 50 to 52 | 51 | Lawless |
| Mistmerrow | Level 50 to 55 | 52 | Lawless, Mistmerrow war event zone |
| Golden Ruins | Level 50 to 54 | 53 | Lawless |
| Reedwind | Level 50 to 55 | 54 | Lawless |
| Epherium | Not server-confirmed | n/a | Lawless |
Diamond Shores and Sungold Fields are the daily hubs. Most players who level into Auroria base their endgame dailies and farming runs out of these two zones. Mistmerrow hosts a large war event. Reedwind sits at the top of the level curve.
The Anya Vein is Auroria's signature mining node. It is gated behind 50,000 Mining proficiency (Master rank), which is a proficiency gate, not a character level. It drops Anya Pebble (item 8080). For the full picture of ores, gems, and how to climb Mining proficiency, see the Mining Guide and the proficiency mechanics in Labor and Proficiency.
Because every Auroria mob is Level 50 to 55, the continent is effectively gated to characters around Level 50 by content difficulty. Plan your route up with the Leveling Guide, and gear up first with the Gear Progression and Regrade and Gemming guides.
The Open Seas
The ocean between the continents is its own world. Every sea zone is lawless and free-PvP at all times. There are no peace timers on the water. The seas are where naval combat, ocean trade runs, fishing expeditions, and piracy happen. Mob "levels" out here are sea monsters and Kraken-tier threats, so the bands are wide where they could be measured and unconfirmed where they could not.
| Zone | Level Band | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Arcadian Sea | Level 8 to 50 | Open sea, free-PvP (largest sea) |
| Sunspeck Sea | Level 30 to 50 | Open sea, free-PvP |
| Castaway Strait | Level 25 to 50 | Open sea, free-PvP |
| Stormraw Sound | Around Level 50 | Pirate home waters (Growlgate Isle) |
| Halcyona Gulf | Not server-confirmed | Open sea, free-PvP |
| Feuille Sound | Not server-confirmed | Open sea, free-PvP |
| Boiling Sea | Not server-confirmed | Open sea, free-PvP |
| Shattered Sea | Not server-confirmed | Open sea, free-PvP |
Stormraw Sound is the Pirate faction's home waters. Unlike the other seas, which have no owning faction, Stormraw Sound is owned by the Pirate faction and contains Growlgate Isle. If you go pirate, this is your base. Everyone else should expect hostility there.
The seas are the main route for high-value ocean trade packs. Crossing them is the riskiest, most profitable leg of commerce. To understand the rewards and the dangers, read Trade Packs and Commerce, and outfit your boat using Mounts and Ships.
Level-Banding Cheat Sheet
If you just want to know "where do I go at my level," here is the server-confirmed summary by median content level.
| Stage | Level | Best zones |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Level 1 to 15 | Solzreed Peninsula, Lilyut Hills (Nuia); Arcum Iris (Haranya) |
| Early | Level 10 to 25 | Gweonid Forest, White Arden, Dewstone Plains (Nuia); Mahadevi, Falcorth Plains, Villanelle, Silent Forest (Haranya) |
| Mid | Level 25 to 40 | Marianople, Two Crowns, Cinderstone Moor, Halcyona (Nuia); Solis Headlands, Windscour Savannah, Rookborne Basin (Haranya) |
| High | Level 40 to 50 | Sanddeep, Karkasse Ridgelands (Nuia); Hasla, Perinoor Ruins, Ynystere, Rokhala Mountains (Haranya) |
| Endgame | Level 50 to 55 | All Auroria zones and the open seas |
The starter peninsulas do not cover your first 30 levels alone. Solzreed has a median mob level of 17, Lilyut Hills 11, and Arcum Iris 11. You move through several zones (peninsula, then forest, then plains) on your faction's leveling chain well before Level 30. Do not expect a single tutorial zone to carry you to 30.
For a step-by-step path through these stages, including which quests and zones to prioritize, see the Leveling Guide. For early survival and orientation, see the New Player Guide.
Realm Lore vs Real Zones
Rookery Isles is a roleplay-focused server, and its realm canon includes fictional House duchies with names like Suncoast, Thaloria, and Skjaldor. These are realm-CMS roleplay lore, not in-game zones. You will not find them on the map, in the zone list, or in any quest. They are an organizational and storytelling layer that the realm uses for Houses, titles, and guild structure. For how those Houses and their lore map onto the actual game world, read Guild System and Taxes.
When you are navigating, traveling, or reading quests, use the canonical zone names in this atlas (Two Crowns, Solis Headlands, Marianople, Halcyona, and the rest). Those are the names the game itself uses.
There is no zone named "Whirlpool Isle." It does not exist anywhere in the world data. If you have seen it referenced, it was an error: "Whirlpool" appears only in the names of certain gear pieces, never as a place you can travel to.
On Rookery Isles
Rookery Isles runs the ArcheAge 3.0 (Revelation) era on the AAEmu 3.0.3.0 NL0bP fork, with a maximum character level of 55. A few things specific to this server are worth flagging for the atlas:
- All gathering works from Level 1. The underlying fork shipped with every gathering skill bugged to require Level 52. Rookery patched that, so Mining, Logging, Gathering, Farming, Husbandry, and Fishing are all usable from Level 1 regardless of where you are in the world. Never treat a gathering node as level-gated.
- The Anya Vein gate is preserved as a proficiency gate, not a level gate. It needs 50,000 Mining proficiency (Master rank). That is the same on Rookery as in canonical ArcheAge.
- Level bands here are derived from the live server's own mob spawns, not copied from public wikis. Where the data could not confirm a band, this atlas says so rather than guessing.
- Peace and war timers apply only to contested zones. Auroria and the open seas are permanently lawless on this server, exactly as in the base game. Do not rely on a peace state up north or at sea, because there is not one.
