The Realm

The Claim of Erenor

The Rookery Isles did not spawn here. They invaded. Ashley and Trystane sit above every mortal office. The houses took Nuia, Haranya, and Auroria the way a hungry court takes a neighbor: by banner, by harvest, by port, and by blood.

The Sequel, Not a Reskin

The Second Life chronicles are the old world: a phoenix born archipelago, ten years of dragon fire under Rhaenor Mudae, and a new court only three years old. Ashley Love, the Eternal Phoenix, and Trystane Love, the Eternal Tempest, ended that war and built a machine so no mortal could ever become the Dragon Emperor again.

The machine worked. The Isles still starved. Thaloria's Golden Fields are ash. Frosthold's walls are black. Then the veil at the Mystic's Vale went thin, the Storm Gates turned around, and on the other side was Erenor: ArcheAge's world, whose own gods had already failed.

Thiol made a Garden of raw magic. Twelve companions walked into it and came back as gods. Gene Evernight became Kyrios and unmade Auroria. Nui died opening a gate through the Hereafter so the survivors could flee west to Nuia and east to Haranya. Two thousand years later those children are still fighting each other, and Auroria is a lawless grave they have only just been allowed to loot.

The Rookery houses looked at that map the way a veteran looks at two street gangs arguing over a burned city. They did not pick a faction. They took the land.

The Ladder

Game of Thrones at court. ArcheAge in the field.

The Celestials

Ashley Love, the Eternal Phoenix. Trystane Love, the Eternal Tempest. Absolute authority, almost never used. They watch. They anoint. They do not play the daily game. Existential threats, cosmic law, and houses falling into the darkness that ate Rhaenor: that is when they move. Everything else is yours.

The Regent

Highest mortal office in the new world. Seat: Marianople. Governs policy, campaigns, trade, and the Crown purse. Cannot command the Hand. Cannot direct House Sunflare. Raised by Council politics and celestial anointing. The old world's court does not automatically extend through the Gates. This seat opened empty on purpose.

The Hand

Appointed by the Celestials. Answers only to them. Runs court. Commands House Sunflare, and no one else does. Does not set policy. Does not rule the realm. The Regent governs. The Hand guards. When they agree, the world moves. When they do not, the game is on.

Head of House

Prince or Princess of a house. Guild General in the engine. Holds the land grant, appoints every title beneath, spends the treasury that the tax of those zones produces. This is the person your knights actually die for. Lose the zone in open world war and you lose the income. Keep it and you feed the next campaign.

Guild Ranks, Tax, and Treasuries

The Partition

Each house took the land that looked like home. Then they made it pay.

Nation names (Suncoast, Thaloria, Skjaldor) are Rookery canon. Zone names are real ArcheAge geography. You travel to Two Crowns. You swear to Emberwave. Grants below are live from the realm files; if a war moves a zone, the tax follows the new banner.

Suncoast · was Suncoast

The Crown

Rebirth and Eternity The Regent: Beric

Both capitals at once. Marianople for the Nuians, Solis Headlands for the Harani, Mirage Isle between them. A court that sits one faction's throne is a faction. A court that sits both is a claim on the world.

Unassigned / Wild

The Violent Maelstrom answers to no Prince. Unbranded Aurorian ground (Diamond Shores, Sungold, Reedwind, and the rest of the old homeland that was not granted) is an invitation, not an oversight. Houses that want more than they were given know where to look.

Pirates and the Fae

Stormraw Sound and Growlgate Isle stay pirate waters. No tribute, no Prince, a banner you join when you are done kneeling. The Fae Courts took no scarecrows. Summer and Winter hold bargains, and they were in the Garden before Thiol condemned them. Be careful what you promise.

How You Play It

Join a House. One guild per character. Build, farm, run packs, fight. Housing tax is still ArcheAge copper and Tax Certificates. Rookery attributes that tax to whichever house currently holds the zone. A Crown percentage rises as royal tribute. Princes pay knights from what is left. Land moves by open world war, treaty, or storyline. Future tax follows the new banner. Old savings stay with the loser.

Court is the Regent, the Hand, Council seats, marriages, and knives. The field is Halcyona on a war timer and Auroria with no timer at all. Both are the same war. One of them just has better wine.

The old world's offices still stand in Suncoast. The new world's mortal seats opened empty at Marianople. Whether one Regent can hold both boards, or whether Erenor elects its own, is the first fight of the Claim. The Celestials will anoint whoever the game produces. They will not play it for you.
